The Roller Coster Ride

It was 9 years back, in the class of 1f2, i got to know her.

She is a Chindian, daddy is a Chinese and Mummy is an Indian.

I adore her features very much, she has high nose, big round eyes,

not forgetting she loves to talk and talk and talk. This is how it caught us to get even closer.

I remembered, she is also anxious over her exam results, as her mum have high expectation from here.

I can still recall during the PTA day, every student in the class only have either their mummy or daddy to come for the PTA session, but for bee both her parents came and collect her results.  Being very supportive i would say from a point of view. Unfortunately, she was so afraid, as she did not achieve as what is being promised. She teared as she was too afraid and of course, her mum did gave her a good lecture back home.

But this never stops her from being nasty, we went to school early, hitch on the Intrakota bus no.53 and headed down to Mid Valley with Ying Roe and Hui Yin. We are always earlier than the Mid Valley staff, as the stalls and shops are always not opened yet. Sitting at the bench and looking at them spring cleaning their stores and arranging their apparels which was messed up by the customers yesterday in the stores. We never fail to go back to school empty handed. Carrying plastic bag heading back to school in a rush after having our all time favourite Mc Donalds. We defnitely think it looks cool with the bag on our hand as we walk past the lorong headed down into the back gate of the school and into the hall. Friends would ask: Where did you guys went?

She is bubbly. Something that would definitely remain in her thoughts, she bought a M2M CD for a special someone and put it in his bag without his acknowledgement. Trying to be the mistery person. Until today, i believe the special someone still doesnt know how did the CD landed into his bag, and so it is still a mistery.

As we entered Form 2, we than slowly drifted apart, our classes were located from one end to diother end. We started to talk lesser and see each other lesser. While i was getting closer with Eeva. We had recess together and also headed to Kasturi for tuition together.

One more thing, she ponteng school and get me and my mum to pick her up. This is how ridiculous it is. She told me the night before and we agreed of course with my mum’s consent, we went to the school bus stop and pick her up at 8am and headed back home to my house. I still remember she was in a fuschia pink tom’s girl top with blue denim jeans. Enjoyed breakfast with me at home before we left home. Never get me wrong, we ponteng for a good purpose. Yes, definitely! We headed to MPPJ library to study and i meant it. We really study, but it was that her parents wouldnt allow her to skip school to study in the library. Therefore, we didnt have much choice but to plan it this way. Feeling thankful my mum was being helpful in a way too

Although we were not as close as before, but i believe that distance did not put us apart.

Today, we are no different that we still love each other so much, but the only different is that we are all grown up, but we can still be crazy at times.

She still make up time for my birthday which I was really touched.

Despite the laziness in us for keep delaying our next meeting up session. But I am glad that we could still talk non stop and argue till today like there’s no tomorrow.

9 years of friendship and still staying strong, she is heading to New Zealand for studies for the next three years. Another one that I would look highly upon, a doctor to be. When will be out next meeting up session?  Most prolly would be one of our wedding ceremony. At that time, all of us has already turn 25.

I would definitely miss you, babe.

This time round, we may not know when we will see each other.

It is always the down part when friends are being separated,

the positive side is we are heading nearer to our dreams and achievements.

It’s so hard to search my priamry mates.

Besides facebook and friendster, i practically do not have any of their numbers in my mobile phone.

Worst, when there is only 25 of us from the year 6 of my year. I couldn’t even have all their contacts.

Only 25 pupils, and i have like not more than 10 of them in my contacts.

So people, if you ever come to know any of my friends. Please do inform them that,

on the Chor 6 of CNY, we are planning to visit Mdm Wong’s and Pn Chew hse at approximately 3 in the evening. Please do pass the msg around and get them to contact me yea.

In a month time, I am leaving Malaysia heading over to Perth, Australia.

In a month time- at this time, I am already in the flight on my way to start my new journey in a whole brand new place.

In a month time, i will have to do my own laundry, cooking, cleaning, groceries.

In a month time, i won’t get to drive my all time favourite red myvi.

In a month time, i need to be even hardworking than before for my final year.

In a month time, i will be making new friends.

In a month time, I will be not be chauffeured and pampered by my friends.

In a month time, I will miss home, family, friends, kakak, and food.

In a month time, i need to travel on the public transport and on foot.

In a month time, the internet service is no more unlimited.

In a month time, I will be on my own, stepping out of my comfort zone.

I’m only left with a month now in exact, it was like yesterday when i enrolled myself in Metrpolitan college and told myself that i’m require to complete my final year abroad which is in another 1.5 years later.

Time really flies, just within a snap of finger.

I can’t wait to go to start a new chapter of my life there, yet at the same time not willing to let go the comfort and the joyful moment back here.

I can’t wait to graduate!

I can’t wait to come back too!! when i’m not even there yet!

Only a year, and i will be back. This is how fast time tick around the grandfather clock.

finally, i thought i could turn back my biological clock and get back to normal routine.

Going to bed at 1230 makes me feels young again, the hours which i used to go to bed back in high school.

I silent my phone to prevent ppl from disturbing me and tuck myself into bed and sleep soundly.

AND IM SEATING HERE RIGHT NOW!!!!!!

i woke up an hour ago, feeling really fresh, as if i’d slept for more than 10 hours.

Here comes Richard tempting me to go for breakfast at this wee hours, and telling me that he needs to work later and off to bed. SO what he wants?

I ‘m actually seriously hungry at the point of time, i think it is because i’d only taken a meal yesterday, which is not a big portion at all.

After that, Tomas started reminding me again that he is hungry. OMG!!!

DID he knew that i was hungry too, and asked if i could send him breakfast!?!?!?!?!?

okay, i shall wait for kakak to wake up in another 1/2 hour time to prepare me breakfast.

Lesson 1:

Mentality Vs. Ability

Which sounded more important to you?

Mentality?

Ability?

Well, i would say one would need a balance between both while doing a work.

If you’re capable and have the ability to perform certain task, but the mentality level is is not high enough, the performed task will be done without efficiency. Meaning to prduced results with extra wasted efforts.

While,

If you have high mentality but could not arrange your work accordingly, than you are  not capable of completing the task.

SO why bother when you are not having the both with you and starts troubling others and burdensome others at time same time.

At times, you may find them overly helpful. Certain times, you may find them creating more trouble.

So we should always think of what and who ourselves are, what we are capable of before pointing at others.

Lesson 2:

Never go overboard, know who you are and where your grounds are.

Never bypass your supervisor and ignore him and headed straight to your Manager. It is being disrespectful and also seen not knowing how to deal with situations.

Today was just another rountine day of our yearly activity before Chinese New Year,

the making of kuih kapit today. I always do not get excited over doing it, but when the day arrives. I always enjoy the process of doing it. Though it is tiring, but i think i would like to continue and proud of doing it as not much people actually experience the whole process. Plus, in this new era, how many of us actually can bear the backache pain of sitting on the stool for the entire day, touching and dealing with ‘cakul’, fingers touching the sizzling hot stick.

It was a little different this year, I chen- cousin sis in US was back and in time to join, it was a couple of years since she was here with us doing.  She is heading back this wednesday to complete her Masters. Those days where she and my elder sis was playing the main role. How we use to stick celo-tape on our finger tips hoping that it could reduce the heat we feel on but instead it turn out diother way round. Even hotter when the plastic melts. Also, to reduce the heat as we are facing the fire whole day, we put on goggles. Haha, that was superb cute!

Chinese New year is drawing near, you can feel the atmosphere especially you step into those CINA shop or the night market. There are lots of stalls selling the Chinese Deco thing as playing Chinese New Year song. AS i grow older, i do not enjoy Chinese New Year as much as the past. Besides collecting the red packet and get to dress up, i don’t enjoy at all. I find it really bored, besides staring at the square box i have nothing to do to past time. It took years to even just pass an hour.Can you feel how miserable I am?

Spoke to Lydia this evening, Lydia is my uncle’s niece who is also studying in Perth. So i’m making more friends before i leave! She pretty sweet girl and gave me an advise that if your friend ask you out, just go out as there are nothing else better to do there! This shows that the place is pretty boring so better tag along with everyone to occupy everyone!

Before setting my new year resolution, i should announced that i’d achieved 3 out of 4 : of my resolution for the year of 2008.

My 2009 New Year Resolution:

1) only improvement is allowed on my results. no deteriorating

2) Enjoy to my fullest for my final year of study!

3) Appreciate what is around me

4) If possible, i would wanna rewind! If situtaion allows- our last summer

5) Spend LESS!

6) Keep in touch with the loves one when i’m abroad!

7) Excercise more for a healtier lifestyle!
