I’d joing the workin society ever since I came back from Perth.
It was a rather quick decision, as i’d joined the company within the first 2 weeks of my landing back at home.
Instead of opting to sit back and relax, I leap into the working world then.
In another 4 days, it marks officially the 2nd month of me in Voir Group of Companies.
It was hell hectic since then, I’d managed to take a week off during the CNY break to head back to the land under- Perth. It was great visiting back the land of my love for my convocation.
Everything just happen to quickly, i do not even have the time to sit back and relax and think about what has been going about me recently.
After working, i understand what people mean they are busy at work, they could not just take leave and go for a vacation, the commitment and the time given to the office is huge alot.
Entering the office during the day and leaving when only it is already dark makes me feel so sad as i have not much time left for myself but only to head to bed.
Afterall, it wasnt that miserable but i’m still learning to adapt to the new environment of mine.
Good Luck dears
i’d started falling in love with the new place to be, working in Voir Group of Companies.
The companion, the people, the workplace are becoming my new love for the year of 2010.
It was a great kick start for my working environment with cool manager.
a great year ahead for me!
xoxo,
yinmei
I always never understand why people would rather stay abroad, far away from their family
I never understand how they started loving the new place when they were there just for a couple of years
I never understand how such thing could occur.
But, I have an answer now in me now.
I started falling in Love with OZ muchly, in fact deeply in love.
liking the place, the people, and everything.
To lead a life here is just perfectly awesome.
This time, with a heavy heart, im reluctant to pack my baggage to return home.
it is not that i dont miss home, but only certain people would understand how i feel.
I would wish to return here someday, and i wanna make an anual trip back here if time andmonies permits me.
Everything is just too perfect for the year of 2009!
I believe it is started with a blast as well as a great ending for me!
a GREAT place of frienship build with sweet memories left behind for my final years of studied!
I’d did a great achievement this year.
just being proud of myself
As the elite taxi fetched me to my accommodation, i felt a sudden shock that I swift right and left, cars going rather fast as to compare to Perth, it seems that drivers here are similar to Malaysian, rather rough and they practically speed. I had to hold tight on the handle on the upper left to ensure that I sit firmly. The places around look different. Their architecture of the building are old rather different as they inherit the Irish and British concept. I find it a resemblance to Paris, building are being drawn with graffiti, not for the decoration purposes.
I was welcome by not a very friendly staff of the Motel, he look rather serious and fierce, without a smile and asking me to sign on the paper upon receiving the room key arranged by Ju Yuan.
A motel room to all on my own provided by Ju Yuan in Garden Sydney Lodge throughout my stay was awesomely great when you do not need a single coin from your own pocket are only required to pay for 3 nights instead of six
Lavish myself in the bubble bath while Mr. Sunny is out there.
Relaxation, sleeping through with no worries and disturbance, sitting by the darling harbour enjoying the night view while savouring the Barramudi fish cooked in the italian style. The night was acompanied by the cooling breeze blowing towards you. I was lucky as the several previous day the tempreture hits up to 40 degrees.
I always thought what is so great about gardens, just flowers and green grasses. But was wrong, the botanical garden had a scenic view of overlooking at both the Sydney Bridge and the Opera House, having cruises passing by underneath the bridge. Sipping my bottle of Orange juice with a little sunshine makes my day perfect. The coach sunglasses helps by ensuring the sun does not have a direct shine into my eyes
It is often we chinese often hope for Tony Roma’s to serve, Pork RIBS! We had half a dozen of fresh oyster and it is fresh, realllly fresh as out entree. The portion it serve in Hurricane grill house was huge with a side dishes of chips. Unfortunately, i couldn’t eat them all. I left the whole plate of chips unattended after filling my stomach with half rack of ribs! Reservation is required even on weekdays as it is always packed. As we decided to go as early as 6, thus no bookings are needed to be done and was told to return the table at 7. As it draw closer to 7, the crowd in the restaurant was getting bigger and bigger.
The third day we have John to bring me around the city of Sydney. I no longer dare to claim i walk alot back in Perth, as walking here is 10 times more than what i walk in Perth. I was gasping for air, like a marathon of walk for the day. It is also my first time taking public transport here to the fish market to meet him for lunch and take a walk down to the city. sipping through my strawberry passion ice blended in Max brenner was great, OF COURSE! I tried the chocoloates. It is crazily great, and i had not tried such yummy chocolates before. The price that you pay for
The tempreature was just right to spend a sunday afternoon at the Bondi Beach. it was super way crowded than our cottlesoe beach in Perth hahah! the amount of people. Having my seafood salad and stealing Ju Yuan’s fish and chips. Later, we decided to drop by the aquarium. For those who knows me, i usually dislike visitng this sorta informative places. hahaha. But im learning to build my interest from now onwards! i’d grab alot and learnt from Ju Yuan throughout my stay here. It wasnt just plain fun, but it helps me to realize i have alot more of room for improvement and things to pick up in life. I am definitely glad to find out all this.
im happy for what i am now, who i am now, and what i have now
just being the me!
and the attention im receiving
It feels great and happiiieee
The moment of separation. i hate this.
It is the season again, we are happily getting closer with one another yet we are separated once again.
Each heading back to our own country and work further to achieve our dreams.
We are another step nearer, nearer to the reality this time.
Life is rather tough, i got to agree.
tough dealing with issues, people around us.
to me, i think emotions are the toughest thing to handle.
After working with you over assignments and arguments,
we manage to go through the semester together.
From strategic advertising to cross cultural and even campaign development.
how we speak in Cantonese and no one understand us.
how we do not understand each other cantonese and doubting me where i learn them from.
how we got praise for our presentation skills and proud to say,
we score the highest mark for cross cultural assignment in the whole semester.
Who says we can’t do better than the ang moh?
with the whole typical asian, chinese group of us.
i think im too proud of us!!!
What surprises you is Malaysia has tvb series, and you initially thought i was muslim ![]()
The friendship build was priceless and worthwhile of course.
Mates, take care till we see each other again!
We shall come back on Feb in our regalia as well as our mortar
celebrating our moments of joy together!
